Air to Air
Heat transfer takes place from one air stream to the other.
These heat exchangers are suitable in electronics cooling for increasingly miniaturized components within enclosures, or for demanding applications like telecommunications or military/aerospace where weather can be a factor. They can either be forced convective (active cooled) or natural convective (passive cooled) type of heat sink, to transfer the heat within the electronic enclosures to the outside ambient air for rejection.
The scope for heat recovery and usage and energy conservation is tremendous with the application of these heat exchangers.
